Bradford
Bradford has a range of visitor attractions including The National Science and Media Museum, the Cartwright Hall gallery – recognising the works of local artist David Hockney and the Bradford Industrial Museum that is located in a 19th century mill.
Ilkley
The Cow and Calf Rocks provide a backdrop to the pretty spa town of Ilkley, an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Take in the views of Ilkley Moor or enjoy some refreshments in one of the delightful tearooms.
Keighley
Situated between the moors of Airedale and Keighley, Keighley is a welcoming Yorkshire town. Visit the 17th century East Riddlesden Hall, Museum of Rail Travel or take a ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley railway and enjoy the views.
Haworth
The cobbled streets of the village Haworth are the home of the Bronte sisters, attracting large number of visitors each year. Explore the shops of the lovely main street and take in the views of the surrounding rugged moorland or visit Cliffe Castle Museum.
Bronte Waterfalls
Surrounded by picturesque moorland, the Bronte Falls are a small waterfall located on a 4 mile walk that takes in the Penistone Hill Country Park, Bronte Bridge and the village of Stanbridge.
Hebden Bridge
The Upper Calder Valley is home to Hebden Bridge which displays a strong artist and writer influence. Enjoy the galleries, eateries and pavement boutiques and beautiful surrounding countryside.
Sowerby Bridge
Sowerby Bridge is the crossing point of the Ryburn River and Calder River where visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of the canal side and enjoy a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants, eateries or bars.
Halifax
Calderdale’s largest town, Halifax has a wealth of industrial heritage and impressive architecture. Visit the Halifax Minster, Eureka! - the National Children’s Museum and range of independent shops, markets and restaurants.
Huddersfield
Enjoy the Victorian architecture of Huddersfield, the birthplace of Prime Minster Harold Wilson, visit the Castle Hill monument and enjoy the shops and restaurants of this large market town.
