Knaresborough

Harrogate
East of the Yorkshire National Park, Harrogate’s heritage as a spa town is evident with attractions such as the Royal Pump Museum in the Montpellier Quarter. Take a trip to the Valley Gardens and enjoy attractions such as the Sun Pavilion.
Ripon
The imposing Ripon Cathedral dominates the Ripon skyline, towering above this charming city location. Visit the Ripon Prison & Police Museum or head for nearby Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Garden.
Thirsk
The cobbled market town of Thirsk in the Vale of York was the spiritual home of the Vet, James Herriot – visit the World of James Herriot – an award winning visitor centre and museum, to discover the life and times of the great Vet.
Howardian Hills
The Howardian Hills are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by the Vale of York, the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors National Park where visitors can enjoy some great scenery of rolling hills, visitor attractions and country estates.
