Day Activities (10am to 2pm)

Wild Food Foray (with light foragers lunch) – Experience the best wild foods the season has to offer! Wicker baskets in hand, join our expert forager as he takes you on a fun and interactive foray along leafy lanes, ancient hedgerows and beautiful wild flower meadows. All set from our wonderful site this is your chance to taste the incredible flavours of the countryside. Refreshments on arrival and a light foragers lunch to finish.

Natural History Walk & Talk – Spend the day with our expert ecologist and learn how to ‘read the landscape’ of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the history, mystery & magic of this ancient location, to modern-day management and conservation, you’ll be fascinated and amazed to learn so much. Refreshments on arrival. Please bring a packed lunch.

2 Hour Activities

All set within our wonderful site this is your chance to taste the incredible flavours of the countryside.

Wild Booze Making – We take you foraging for wild and garden ingredients along with store cupboard favourites to make your wild booze. Your challenge is to combine leaves, fruits, herbs and spices to create a unique set of flavours to take home with you, literally bottling the essence of your holiday!

Cider & Cheese Tasting – No visit to the West Country is complete without Cider & Cheese! We take you on a fun and engaging flight of flavour with the best local ciders and cheeses all within the comfort of your converted barn. We will regale you with tall tales and fun facts whilst you sample golden ciders and deliciously moreish cheeses.

School Sports – One for the active and competitive groups! Located at our stunning activity site surrounded by beautiful countryside, all the School Sports classics from sack race, egg and spoon race to relays, and fun with hula hoops and more are covered. Your teams are pitched together but there can be only one winner in this side splitting, laugh out loud activity.

Go Wild Activity – Our signature activity combining 4 elements for maximum fun with: wild food foraging, a bush tucker trial (like I’m a Celebrity!), fire lighting (without matches) and a team archery competition.
