Glassmaking Demonstration Tickets

These tickets are for a glassmaking demonstration. The demo lasts 45 minutes and covers a cross section of different techniques, the raw materials we use and a full commentary of each process we show you.

Tickets are only valid for the date and time you have selected.

Any pieces you wish to make yourselves will be arranged upon arrival.

Glassmaking Experiences

We are pleased to be able to offer some blown pieces finally. A disposable, single use mouth piece will be supplied for anyone purchasing a blown experience. The below items are available with steps in place to ensure yours and our safety.

Blow a bubble £3.95 (This is just the experience of blowing up a large bubble and will not be something you can keep).

All glassmaking experiences require an admission ticket to the glassmaking demonstration.

Glassmaking Courses

HALF DAY COURSE; PAPERWEIGHT & SMALL BOWL – £150 PER PERSON

Morning or afternoon sessions available starting 9.30am or 1.30pm

Includes 3 hours working with a glassmaker on all aspects of making and colouring a paperweight and a small bowl. Your goods will be ready to collect within a few days.

FULL DAY; 2 X PAPERWEIGHTS, VASE AND BOWL – £250 PER PERSON

9.30 – 4.30pm includes lunch in Cafe Nelson @ Langham Glass

Includes 6 hours working with a glassmaker on all aspects of making and colouring two styles of paperweights and developing techniques to blow a vase and bowl into a mould. Your goods will be ready to collect within a few days.
