Hope Nature Centre
Easter is the perfect time to visit a farm park. Spring brings new baby animals, and children will love the opportunity to meet the sheep, goats, pigs, and donkeys up close. They also hold regular events and children’s activities, so it is worth checking what’s on if you’re planning a visit so you don’t miss out. One activity that is well worth booking in advance is the Goat Walks. Go for a walk around the animal park with the goats, and then help to feed them! This makes a lovely and memorable day out.
Bowood House & Gardens
If you’re looking for a family friendly day out, Bowood House & Gardens is a great choice. Tour the house, explore the gardens, or let the kids loose in the Adventure Playground. If the children need to burn off some energy but the adults fancy a rest, there is a Soft Play area with an area where adults can relax.
Butterfly World at Studley Grange
Butterfly World in Swindon is a great option for all ages, from children to adults. Walk through the Butterfly House as beautiful butterflies fly free around you. Butterfly season tends to be between March and October, so Easter is the perfect time to visit. Afterwards, visit the Butterfly Cafe for a coffee or a spot of lunch. Also on site is a Craft Village, Farm Park, and Soft Play area, so there are plenty of things to do on a day out.
