Owl-O-Ween at Hawk Conservancy Trust | Andover

Prepare yourself and your little ones for a wickedly spook-tacular family evening this Halloween. You can enjoy some ghostly storytelling and marvel at our owls as they put on a beautiful flying display against the backdrop of our moonlit grounds.

There’ll be an opportunity to independently explore our grounds and see our birds in their homes, following spooky moonlit trails between the two flying displays of the evening. We’ll introduce you to a range of mystical owls from our native Barn Owls to larger species such as Great Grey Owls and a Verreaux’s Eagle-Owl!

New Forest Activities – Halloween Archery Pumpkin Shooting

Hazel Copse Farm,Beaulieu,Hampshire,SO42 7WA

We’ve put a spooky twist on our archery sessions for October, with ghosts, ghouls, zombies and werewolves acting as your new targets. Then it’s onto the pumpkin shooting round where your little monsters will get to decorate their pumpkins before watching them go ‘splat’ as they practice their newfound shooting skills. This one’s smashing good fun!

It’s trick or treat season and we’re pulling out all the stops to make this one full of science treats! Join Skully the skeleton for a fiendishly fun trick or treat trail around the Science Centre. Don’t forget to put on your best Halloween costumes and hit the dance floor! Every day during October half term (25th October to 4th November) we’ll be hosting the mini monster disco at 4pm. And make sure you book the free live science show, Potions Science Lab.
