With the peaceful Hampshire countryside surrounding the campsite, it’s easy to find your own quiet spot to relax. The dog-friendly site is located right on the doorstep of the New Forest, which is filled with activities like walking, cycling, horse riding and water sports. Site facilities include toilets and hot showers and a washing up area. There is a local village nearby where you’ll find a children’s playground and a pub, with more shops and restaurants 4 miles away at Fordingbridge.
Rookesbury Park Caravan Club Site
Rookesbury Park is surrounded by peaceful parkland and located near the South Downs and Forest of Bere. The villages of Wickham and Fareham are nearby, where you’ll find pubs and shops. Facilities include a baby changing area, disabled shower room, laundry, dishwashing area, kids’ playground, picnic area, mini golf and mobile fish and chip van. Dogs are welcome, and there is even a dedicated dog walking area.
Hill Farm Camping and Caravan Park
This quiet, family-run site benefits from a fantastic location not too far from New Forest and with Salisbury and Southampton on either side. It’s also only 7 miles from Paultons Park, a great day out for the kids. In the nearby area, you’ll find golf, fly fishing and horse riding. Campsite facilities include a modern shower and toilet block with washing up facilities and underfloor heating, a play area for kids, a dog walking field, a licenced shop and a cafe.
Holden Farm Camping
Just 7 miles from Winchester and 6 miles from Alresford, the dog-friendly Holden Farm is an ideal base to explore Hampshire. This working farm is on the doorstep of the South Downs and is on the South Downs National Trail. The site’s facilities include a modern facility block with hot showers and flushing toilets, a large washing up area, and a communal fridge and freezer, kettle and ice machine.
Lepe Beach Campsite
This campsite is situated just 150 yards from Lepe Beach, with stunning views of the Solent. The beach is great for swimming and water sports like kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing. The site itself is located right behind Lepe Country Park, and offers back to basics camping suitable for families. Facilities include hot showers, flushing toilets, washing up area and mobile charging. The village of Blackfield is only 1.5 miles away, where you can find cash points, petrol and supermarkets.
Croft Cottage and The Lodge
Croft Cottage has a small, dog-friendly campsite which is popular with families. The pitches are located around the outside of a paddock, with the space in the centre used for ball games, with a netball post and small football goal. The site is just 30 minutes drive from Bournemouth’s beaches, Salisbury and Southampton. The site also has access to open forest via a footpath. The site’s facilities include three toilets, two showers and a washing up sink. You’ll find a pub 10 minutes walk away.
Long Meadow Campsite
Located in the New Forest, Long Meadow Campsite is set in a 19 acre meadow, so there’s plenty of space. The beaches of the Solent are nearby, and Lyndhurst, the capital of the New Forest, is just a short drive away. Facilities include two toilet and shower blocks and two spacious grass play areas. The dog-friendly campsite is just a short walk from the village of Brockenhurst which has a good selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and banks.
Hurst View Leisure
Hurst View Leisure benefits from panoramic views all around. Close to Lymington’s coastline and Milford-on-Sea, the campsite has far-reaching views towards the Solent and the Needles. Hollands Wood Campsite
Hollands Wood Campsite is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Set amongst 22 acres of oak woodland, the site is surrounded by giant oak trees and greenery. The site has 143 miles of footpaths and cycle routes, so you can explore right from your tent.
