At the heart of Woodbridge since the 16th century, this charming townhouse has been looking after diners for over 50 years.

In the summer of 2021, The Spice Bar opened at The Table, bringing a modern twist to some classic authentic South East Asian food.

Vernon and his head chefs share a simple ethos; that good food comes from the best, local produce and sharing close relationships with local producers for the freshest ingredients, including fish from the quayside and vegetables grown just up the road.

Vernon has been leading the way for Woodbridge restaurants for nearly 20 years and the Spice Bar at The Table continues to shine in this beautiful Suffolk town. The team bring a wonderful contemporary feel to dishes, with the addition of Spice Bar classics.

Opened as The Table in 2012, this wonderful restaurant is part of The Anchor Group, a selection of pubs and restaurants owned and run by well-known Suffolk local chef-proprietor Vernon Blackmore.
