The Old Pumphouse
Designed in ‘Olde Worlde’ rustic styling, set in the village of Upperhulme near Leek and overlooking the village ford, the hut is situated in it’s own grounds with seating areas, BBQ, chiminea and also a double rocking seat on the private raised decking area.
Inside the hut is a small kitchen with sink and double gas burner, a hand-made rustic 4ft double bed and table with chairs, plus an adjoining private shower & toilet cabin and glorious garden area.
Upperhulme is a beautiful, tiny hamlet set in the heart of the Peak District. Only five minutes from the hut you will find The Roaches, a stunning rock formation which draws tens of thousands of hikers, climbers and tourists to the area every year.
On your doorstep you will find miles and miles of picturesque walking, climbing and bouldering opportunities as well as stunning picnic and photography spots! There are various great country pub options nearby, with the closest being a 2 minute amble from the hut! The small market town of Leek is just 3 miles away, with its many independent local businesses, pubs, cafes and shops or for a different experience, the spa town of Buxton is also close by with a lovely scenic drive to get there.
