Irfon Valley Pods & Camping | Wales
Experience inescapable nature, walking with free-roaming chickens, ducks and geese in wildlife-rich surroundings. Dining alfresco on picnic benches, and perfect conditions for stargazing make for truly unforgettable moments.
Irfon Valley Pods is situated in the quaint village of Llangammarch Wells, which offers access points to two long-distance footpaths: the 140-mile Heart of Wales Line Trail and the Via Beata route from Lowestoft in Suffolk to St Davids in Pembrokeshire.
In 2016 Jerry & Paula moved into a very run-down and overgrown Nant Yr Onnen. In 2020 after much hard work and generous help from family and friends, ‘Irfon Valley Pods & Camping’ was opened with the first 2 pods.
(Ultimately, there will be 10 pods, and an attractive timber clad loo block with more loos, showers and hot water. There will also be a washing up area with hot water. The last building to go up will be an open fronted, multipurpose communal building where groups, families and individuals can gather. Development of the site will progress as funds allow.)
