Peaceful and perfectly placed for peninsula pottering – Pencaerau Pods is a smart Gwynedd glamping site almost at the western tip of the Llŷn Peninsula, half an hour’s drive from Pwllheli.

Aim for this amiable site five minutes drive from Aberdaron to bed down in a handmade wooden pod that’s been kitted out with lots of handy features, including a wood burning stove to keep the place cosy. There’s also an ensuite toilet and shower room, so no dashing around in your nightie or jimjams here.

Solar-powered lights are available within the pods. There is also a separate area with a fridge and mains electricity for charging devices.
