The Place for Plants

The Place for Plants is a family run specialist plant centre and garden. Based at East Bergholt which is set in the beautiful Stour valley on the Suffolk-Essex border.

The Plant Centre is open throughout the year and the garden and arboretum are open from March to September.

We are now able to offer a mail order service from September to March as well as a customer order service and will be happy to gather together and reserve any plants for collection (within a month). We will also try to obtain anything listed but not in stock and for large orders we offer a quote/collection and delivery service – see services offered.

Our staff are all knowledgeable and enthusiastic gardeners, who can give help and advice on individual plants or suggestions for specific sites.
