In the summer holidays, I went on a mini holiday to Drayton Manor with my cousins.

I got to go on Dodgems for the first time, win loads of tickets at the arcade (which we spent on sweets) and got chased by lots of wasps! My favourite part by far was Stormforce 10, even though I was very scared!

We queued for ages before being able to go on it but it was worth it. When it goes backwards, it feels like you’re going to fly out and you get soaked with water! Luckily we were sitting in the middle, so it wasn’t as bad as the people behind us. I closed my eyes when it got to the BIG drop because of how high it was. I screamed so much when we were going down!

Another highlight  was the Haunted House. There was blood smeared across the walls and a painting talked and it was very life- like. Some of the portraits on the walls’ eyes followed you around. Towards the end of the Haunted House there was a mini ride which made you move side to side as if you were floating mid- air.

To end the day, we went to the zoo where I got to see a White- Faced Saki Monkey, two tigers and lots of meerkats. I also saw an alligator which was as still as a statue!
