My dream UK holiday would be in a chic, oak wood lodge in the forest.

I would arrive on a Friday in July when the sun was at its best. In the evening, I would dine in Pizza Express which would be in the complex village on-site. Diners could sit inside or outside under umbrellas. The tables would be candle lit and you could see the chefs baking the pizzas on the hot pizza stove.

After dining I would head over to the evening entertainment and watch musicals and plays on the outside band stand stage. If I was feeling tired I would then head over to the spa next to my wood lodge and rest in the bubbly, warm hot tub.

My wood lodge would smell of fresh oak wood and the carpet would be as soft as a fluffy bunny. My bedroom would have a king size bed with lots of soft plump pillows and the duvet cushiony and ready to be slept in. My bathroom would have a big hot bubbly bath with all kinds of different soaps.

On the Saturday morning I would get up and have breakfast at the pancake parlour down in the complex village.

After breakfast I would see if there were any roller coasters nearby for me to ride on with my family. I would also see if there was a waterpark for me to splash around in if I got hot.

After that I would check out the Go Ape park in the woods on site which is a tree trail high up in the trees with a tarzan swing and wooden stepping stones. If it was not too expensive I would definitely have a go!!

When I get tired I would go back to my lodge and watch some telly and have my dinner but if I was not tired I would go over to the entertainment shack and see if there were any comedians on.

On Sunday for breakfast I would make myself some lovely, creamy scrambled egg with a piping hot hot-chocolate with marshmallows.

After breakfast, I would head over to the outdoor swimming pool in the hope that they had slides and diving boards. The pool would smell of a spa and there would be sun-loungers and umbrellas. There would also be a sauna, a steam room and a foamy hot tub.

For lunch I would head to the nearest picturesque sea-side town for a spot of lunch before heading to the arcades to win prizes!

My holiday would then end with me travelling home on an old steam train.
