My parents have always looked at holidays in Devon for us to go to but we never end up going because we either have lots of things to do or we just haven’t gotten round to doing it.
My friends have always told me how nice it is in Devon when it’s hot and that there are so many things to do there especially because there is a beach and you can make sandcastles and have ice cream !
I would love to go there, but I would like to do something more extravagant and out of the blue and that’s why I would love to stay in a treehouse. I love nature and going on walks and I would love to take my dog, Teddy. I already know that he would love it as much as I would. I love how unique and different the treehouse is than staying in a house surrounded by other houses and that makes the treehouse so much more different.
I also love how homey and comfy it looks inside and out and that nearly everything is basically hand-crafted and made out of wood.
I can already picture myself drinking a hot chocolate, sitting with my family and Teddy, talking around the hot roasting fire.
One of my passions is to cycle and I think that would make my dream holiday even better, in the woods cycling with my brother and sister with Teddy by our sides, running to try and keep up with us.
After a long cycle, around the forest we would stop and make a den for us to sit in and relax, listening to the birds tweeting.
We have some woods near our house and we used to make dens and sit in them for ages, watching the sun go down.
Finally after making our den we would cycle back and sit around a campfire and collect wood for it .
In my school we have something called ‘Forest School’ . They teach us how to make dens, do team building and roast things like marshmallows.
So me ,my mum, dad , sister and brother (Not forgetting Teddy who would probably be sleeping) would roast marshmallows and talk about what our next adventure would be!
