My dream holiday in the UK would be a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of London. It would be a serene environment, with lots of activity and adventure. In London, I dream of getting away to be free and one with nature. This would be the perfect place to make my dreams come true!
The luxury destination that I have in mind is in the countryside. It is close enough to London, to drive there in our electric car, so we take care of the environment. The cabins are fully extravagant, with huge glass windows overlooking the tranquil lake. The scene looks like a beautiful landscape painting.
Lakes by Yoo, is my dream destination in the UK! The adventurous activities are endless. Some of my favourite activities can all be done in one day. After breakfast, I would start my day with a family hike or bike ride through the stunning nature trails. I would hear the birds tweeting and the trees rustling in the gentle breeze. The fresh aroma of the spring flowers smell like natural perfume. All around we can hear other peoples laughter. It is obvious others are enjoying these moments as much as me.
If you are feeling adventurous and have a daredevil personality like me, the zip wire is a thrilling activity. Flying over the lake is exciting. Surrounding me are tall, healthy trees that I zoom past. It is such an exhilarating and memorable experience.
To cool off from the morning adventures, a water sport would be my next choice of activity. I would enjoy paddle boarding, and exploring the different parts of the large lake. It is also a great way to exercise, as it is hard to keep your balance on the board. Although it looks easy when you see other people paddle boarding, I would often fall into the lake.
As a calmer activity, I enjoy canoeing in the peaceful lake with my brother, underneath the picturesque, vibrant sunset. Before the end of our canoeing session, my brother and I would jump into the cold, refreshing water, for a sudden boost of energy.
Of course, to end the day, a family picnic under the stars of the night sky would be my dream. It would be lovely to sit around a camp fire with my family and discuss the wonderful day of adventures. During the same time, we would be roasting fluffy marshmallows on the fire to make my favourite treat. The day ends with, scrumptious smores, melting in my mouth!
